Al Azza Refugee Camp, the smallest refugee camp in Bethlehem – covering only 0.02 square kilometers, is located between Manger Street and Jerusalem-Hebron Road. The Camp is also called ‘Beit Jibrin’ because the majority of the families living in the camp came from this village after the 1948 War. Today, the camp is home to more than 2,000 Palestinians. One of the major problems facing residents of the camp is the high level of unemployment.
