Getting to Bethlehem from Jerusalem using 231 bus
I think the easiest and best option is bus number 231 from Jerusalem Damascus gate. It takes 30-40 minutes to the last stop which is Bab Zqaq inside Bethlehem City. Once you get off the bus, there will be taxi drivers trying to get customers, the taxis are yellow and the price to Manger Square is 15-20 shekels maximum for the way (sometimes they try to charge more so this is for you to know). Manger Square is about 2 km away.
